Good evening!

Please share this.

“We are in need of sponsors. If you know any alumni from out of state with a business and would like to give back, please share this with them.

“You can contact myself, Andrew Bodine, Warren Wright, or Ed Fentress for more information we have IRS forms and EIN # as well for tax purposes.”

“We’re on our way to the Smyrna/Middletown Championship football game and we stop at Wawa to get something fast.

“I get the chicken strip bowl, go 2 miles down the road, I try to eat them.

“Completely burnt so bad all 3 were stuck together.

“Go back to complain, manager was really good on making good, refunded me and made another bowl, plus gave me two free coffee coupons.

“The second round of strips were still bad, but edible. Bottom line: Don’t get their chicken strip bowl, but if you’re not happy with them, they are great to fix the problem.

“Now, off to root on Smyrna!”

— Gina Collini

Actually, the message is, don’t get your Wawa chicken strips in Delaware because nobody there knows how to cook.

Wawas here don’t use matches.

Tonight is the last night to come out and enjoy the festival of lights at the Cohanzick Zoo in Bridgeton.

Angie Edwards is coaching the Bridgeton High girls alumni tonight at 6 p.m. when they take on Coach George Linen’s varsity team.

Then the boys alumni take the floor to Nock off (get it?) the Bulldog varsity.

That’s Frank Nock and he will score 40.

The George Linen interview today on 92.1 FM restored our faith in Bridgeton High School making it to the top of the mountain.

The girls who called in as part of Tech Sgt. Linen’s Junior ROTC were fantastic. It’s the kind of exposure every high school student should experience.

We suggested a similar program in 4th, 5th and 6th grade to give kids the structure they need, the love they need, the connection they need with adults, the responsibility they’ll be meeting for the first time to feel good about themselves

And the high school cadets could assist with the program.

Frankly, the Parade of Champions doesn’t get it.

“Soroptimist Lunch with Mr & Mrs Santa was a wonderful event! A perfect way to start the holiday.”

— Peggy Gentile-Van Meter

Next year, Sam Feinstein can be Santa Claus.

The Bridgeton Christmas House Tour today looks like one of the most successful, even though Salem’s is the same day.

The Bridgeton Library got sopped up in time to be included.

We hate people putting down Bridgeton as being a city of handouts without a single fact to support it.

And they’re the ones doing nothing to change it.

And then there are the ones to put it in perspective:

“That’s because they dwell on the negative or bad parts of their life.

“If you are poor, be thankful for what you do have, and if your are sick, be thankful for all the healthy years prior to getting sick.

“We are here for just a speck of time, so why waste it on emotions that only bring pain.

“Smile and be happy, Jack. You are welcome to share this message.”

— Jorge Romero
