The column that says Boston moves south starting Saturday morning at 11 a.m. when the original baked bean — Mike Abbott — takes over 92.1 FM in the 11th hour because he’s done driving truck for the winter and wants somebody to yell at besides Bridgeton City Council, the police chief and the panhandlers — us, and we guarantee it will be open forum, so you can call about anything Mike allows, except religion — then go on the Bridgeton Christmas House Tour, starting at 1 p.m. at the Sheppard House, and don’t miss the spread at Chance & McCann.

You already know we have SSgt. George Linen, of Bridgeton High School Jr. ROTC, and his wife, Mama Linen, and it will not be boring because Linen grew up on the streets of Newark.
A little history
June 13, 2014
Seriously, make your kid take advantage of Sgt. George Linen’s Jr. ROTC summer camp Aug. 4-15 at the school.
It’s orientation for the four-year ROTC program that will make your child an adult before his time.
We don’t lie a centimeter about that statement because we’ve seen it in action.
Sgt. George Linen may not walk on water, but he has no trouble floating.
Call 856-455-8030, ext. 1263.
If your child doesn’t love it, oh boy.
Boys and girls.
They had so many 6th to 8th graders sign up for summer camp last year, Linen had to bring in more help, which he didn’t have.
Let’s double it this year.
Just 6th to 8th graders.
COACH GEORGE LINEN HEADED FOR SATURDAY NIGHT FUNDRAISER IN BHS GYM.
Maybe even Charlie Kates will call in.
“A special congrats to Gabe Hemighaus for getting accepted into the Rowan School of Medicine program. Your hard work and dedication will take you to great places. Congrats my son. You really deserve it.”

There’s a blueprint to follow, educators!
Who pushed him? Who had him set his sights on settling for more?
“Pretty much self motivated. I pushed him in sports but he strived in education. D1 football player, as well.”
“This year, Bethany Grace Community Church is focusing its efforts on helping Danny Muniz and his family.
“Danny Muniz is an 8-year-old boy in Upper Deerfield Township who is suffering from a rare form of encephalitis called ‘acute necrotizing encephalitis.’
“Danny is constantly struggling with his health and his family is struggling to make ends meet.
“His parents are working hard to learn how to take care of Danny. He cannot communicate or walk, so it makes it difficult for them to care for him. When Danny is in Dupont, they travel every day to be with him, while trying to provide for the rest of their family, as well.
“They have a daughter and son who they also care for. The father is trying very hard to work, while the mother cares for Danny. With only one income, hospital bills, gas and tolls to get to Dupont have been overwhelming and now they are over $20,000 behind in their rent and facing possible eviction.

We make people nervous when we talk race.
“Join us at Texas Roadhouse in Millville this holiday season!
“We are open for lunch every Friday in December and have our Early Dine Menu available from noon-3 p.m.
“This menu features 11 entree choices for $8.99 each.”
Somebody asked us, where does that money go?
“Not here,” they said.
Remember when there were summer jobs around here for teenagers?
Do you realize how many waitresses and waiters are putting themselves through college by working there? Management is flexible with the hours.
You can be a hostess at 16, but you have to be 18 to serve because of the alcohol involved.
If you have a teenage daughter, get her braces to make her smile beautiful, then go ask for straw boss and CRHS graduate Josh Watts.
You look at so many teeth and you realize this must be the key.
We know every waitress, their major and the name of their dog.
How short we humans fall!
“Congratulations, Ray Mooney, for shooting 290/825 and Mark Kazaoka for shooting 297/766 last night!”
— Campani’s Legacy Lanes
We remember the first two Mooneys and Mits Kazaoka.
