The column that says we visited heaven twice today, the first time with Gentle Dental Non-rental Donna Erianne in Dr. Sam’s office where we go back to standing side by side on the Riverfront watching Dr. Sam play with the Jack Neff Band, and the second time with Karen Hemple at Shear Mania, where the emphasis is on mania and where she’s camping next and Candi is 60 pounds down and no longer round, and that’s three trips to heaven counting Deanna Speranza-Murphy and her sainted husband John, so don’t tell me there is no hereafter.

Good evening!

Get up early tomorrow and catch Richard Hoch on 92.1 FM from 6 to 8 a.m. — some groupies stay up all night so as not to miss his show — and then catch us at noon with former Bridgeton police chief John Bondi and former Camden City police officer and now Bridgeton rally cry Jorje Romero, who we are touting for mayor in the next city election.

Chief Bondi once told us not a week went by that there wasn’t a lawsuit against him.

One day, he told us, “The city says they’re backing me, but what if one slips through.”

We expect Dan Mourning and Jim Filapello to call in, and if either wants to join us, they’ve both been invited

“GALLERY 50 OPENING TONIGHT !”

“Come to see hundreds of gift items at the Gallery 50 open house tonight from 6 to 9 o’clock.

“Light refreshments. The public is invited.”

— Sam Feinstein

“There is still time to register for our free College Panning Workshop for Parents to be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9 in The GlassWorks Community Room in Millville.

“We will discuss how to choose the best college to match your finances, necessary documents for a smooth process, how to properly appeal your financial award, and much more.

“To register, visit www.collegefundingauthority.com and click the workshop link at the top of the page.”

the poster child for what media used to be

Breakfast With Santa Saturday, Dec. 10 at 8 a.m.

If Linda is there, count us in!

The Bridgeton Petsmart grant obtained by the CCSPCA for cats is almost used up.

Only room for 20 more cats and then the grant is over. So if anyone has friendly cats they need fixed over 4 months old, let me know ASAP! We would have to meet at the shelter Monday when they open to get the appointment.”

From Reva Christian:

“Veterans Day Ceremony in Veterans Park, Bridgeton, on Nov. 11 at 10 a.m.

Help us support our VETERANS!”

Reva, what would I have to do to talk 40 veterans into enjoying a free lunch at Texas Roadhouse on Friday, Nov.11, other than talk Ken Sheppard into providing a free coach bus?

Here is the free menu:

  • 6 oz. Sirloin Steak (with two sides)
  • Country Fried Chicken (with two sides)
  • Country Fried Sirloin (with two sides)
  • Pulled Pork Dinner (with two sides)
  • Single Grilled Pork Chop (with two sides)
  • All-American Cheeseburger (with fries)
  • BBQ Chicken Sandwich (with fries)
  • Pulled Pork Sandwich (with fries)
  • Grilled Chicken Salad
  • Chicken Critter Salad.

David Levitsky used to buy lunch for any veteran down on his luck, and not down on his luck.

How can we keep his charitable efforts alive?

Where we’re going:

“(Sports Illustrated) fired all of their staff photographers, but now they use the same pool of photographers on a commission/per use basis. All expenses are borne by any photographer who hopes to sell to Time, Inc. and all of their subsidiary publications. They are not salaried as before. If they don’t agree to this arrangement and the prescribed fees for work actually published, they won’t have anything appear in any of the Time, Inc. publications. In other words, they are still using several of the same photographers, but without giving them any support for their efforts.”

— Sam Feinstein,

who we bet knows a few of them

Even the nuclear plant is reducing its force.

When duPont goes, so goes the neighborhood!

Can you live in Cozumel and drive to the Ford plant?

Can you live in Taiwan and commute to the American plant in China?

What’s the going hourly wage rate at the sneaker factory in Bangladesh?

Does anybody know how many jobs have been lost in South Jersey in the last four years?

If you’re living on a pension, don’t bother to look.

YOU CAN BOOK IT: Wonder how the estimated 128,000 drug addicts in New Jersey will vote on Tuesday?
