Good evening!

Bless you, Steve Paul and Debbi Boykin-Greenberg for taking over the 92.1 FM show today.

Nothing bigger than the Bridgeton CrabFest.

An honor to meet Coach Dick Vermeil today at South Jersey Sports Museum Hall of Fame in Bridgeton.”

— Bob Hutchings

“During my recent experience in the emergency room at Inspira of Vineland, I was treated very professionally.

” was extremely sick and couldn’t even stand . The staff worked to get my tests done quickly, get my blood work and X-rays done rapidly and to find the cause of my condition.

“I needed fluids, antibiotics, pain meds, etc I was so dehydrated I was passing out.

“Now I am starting on the path way back to wellness. (managed jello last night). Thank you to all the staff on the ER shift from 11 to 7 on Friday morning, Aug.12 .

“Also, many thanks to Martha Hickman Snow and Hank Snow for coming to check on me. It meant a lot.”

— Carol Hickman,

It’s stress, Carol.

If you want her to get well, Google her website and dash off a Jefferson to help take care of the cats.

And I’ve listened to Hank Snow for years.

We don’t care who they hang on the board of education and we don’t care if the tests being used to graduate seniors are PARCC or Boardwalk.

We’re here to tell you that Sgt. George Linen is the best thing to hit South Jersey since Ocean City was built.

Linen is the ROTC instructor at Bridgeton High School that everybody’s kid — male or female — should be exposed to.

Your child needs Sgt. Linen!

“My baby girl is awesome! She strives to be the best at whatever she does.

“She participated in a two-week Junior ROTC boot camp with Sargent Linen at Bridgeton High School. She was selected top cadet out of 35 boys and girls ranging from 4th-10th grade.”

— Adrian McGriff

Adrian McGriff is a whole step ahead of you.

“This is my therapeutic staff. The three of them combined their efforts to get the best out of me.

“I noticed that some patients required 1 aide who cheered them on during low energy workouts. These women got me 3 times a day, 6 days a week, in addition to the Chiropractic Specialist, who I saw 3 times a week.

“There are holes in the vinyl covered tables right now from MY KUNG FU GRIP.

“In order of pain exacted, and range of motion reclaimed. 1. Mary Jo (former interrogator Guantanamo Bay) 2. Terry (smile while killing you) 3. Courtney (sadistic cheerleader).

“Thanks, ladies.”

— Steve Lane

All Cowboy lovers require three aides.

One to work on the knee and two to try and fix the brain.

“The 1st Bridgeton PAL summer soccer league has wrapped up for the year. We would like to send out a special thank you to all the sponsors who stood behind these children and provided them with a safe learning environment and an alternative activity for the summer.

“We also would like to thank the amazing coaches that spent so much of their time with these youth teaching them the sport of soccer as well as showing these children a GREAT time.”

— Bridgeton PAL

The 2016 coaches for the Summer Soccer League.

“Tomorrow is our Bridgeton Riverfront Concert, 7 til 8:30 p.m., on the cohansey River between Broad and Commerce streets (behind Hummel’s Liquor Store, more or less).

“Here’s your big chance, all you Greenwich kids. Come see your old pal, John Paul, doing what he does best! Rockin some country tunes with IN HIGH GEAR!

“Powder up, and come on down and say hi! A FREE concert event, by the way!
Hope to see ya there!”

— John Paul Austin

Can we have the water concession?

But first …

“It’s wicked hot!

“Treat yourself Sunday and stop over to the Cedarville Fire Hal and get your chicken dinner and check out the old cars and the craft vendors.

“Air-conditioned hall to eat in and an air-conditioned, all-purpose room to relax and cool down in. Cooling tents and a homemade lemonade stand, too.

“We will all be there sweating our butts off and all we ask is for your support to buy a great meal.

“If you don’t want to come out, we do takeouts and we also deliver. Beat the heat and let us cook for you.”

— Brian Scarlato
